About Me

I'm now a graduate of the College of William & Mary, whew that's crazy! While in college I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark through DIS! While there, I lived in a homestay with a Danish family in Gammel Holte, a suburb of Copenhagen that is about a 45 commute away from the city. My host family consisted of a host mom (Helle), host dad (Morten), 20 year old host brother (Søren),16 year old host brother (Anders), and a 23 year old host sister, Amalie who lives in a dorm in the city while going to school. While there I took 4 classes: Danish Language and Culture, Criminology and Criminal Justice in Scandinavia, Cyberpsychology, and Holocaust and Genocide.

UPDATED MAY 2020:

During my senior year of college I did a 2 week mini study abroad program in Beijing, China and wanted to share my adventures there on this blog as well! While in Beijing I took classes with 23 other William & Mary students in basic Chinese language and culture while getting to explore Beijing. We stayed on the campus of Beijing Normal University and lived in international student dorms. Several students from the school stayed behind from their break to spend time with us while we were on campus & show us around! We also were able to take the bullet train to Shanghai for a short trip! I am happy I am able to share about my time in China on this blog as well!
