DAY 15, SATURDAY, JANUARY 26th
Woke up to some pretty snow today!! This morning we had breakfast all together- yogurt, fruit, and home-made rolls. After breakfast, me and my host mom took her sister's dog who we're watching, for a walk in the snow. It was a long walk through the woods and countryside area nearby- it was gorgeous with all the snow.
Once we got back I did some laundry #fun #adult. Then around 3, me and my host mom and my host sister all went to see A Star is Born! I hadn't seen it yet so it was fun to go see it together. For dinner today we had beef tenderloin and potatoes and salad which was, like everything else, great! After dinner, Eat, Pray, Love was on TV so we all watched that together.
DAY 16, SUNDAY, JANUARY 27th
Sunday was also a pretty lazy day. We woke up and had breakfast around 9 and after breakfast I worked on some homework. Amalie went back to the city around 11 so after that me, my host parents, and Anders went on another walk. Though it was nice to get some fresh air I do have to admit this one was a little less enjoyable, it was cold, rainy, and the ground was slushy. We walked up to the highest point in this area that typically has a pretty good view of some landmarks in Copenhagen as well as of Sweden but it was too cloudy and foggy to see anything today. On the way back from our walk we stopped at a local museum called Vedbaekfundene which has some Danish archaeology, nature and history. It was pretty small and all in Danish but nonetheless pretty interesting once my host dad explained it all to me. After the museum I came back and showered before we all sat down to watch the handball world championship game which was Denmark vs. Norway. Denmark came out with the win so now they are first-time world champions!!
