DAY 26, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6th
Today we had breakfast at the hotel and then met in the lobby at 9. We headed to our academic stop of the day which was a lecture on how design and psychology interact. The lecture was from someone who works in that field and previously worked pretty high up with design at Bang & Olufsen. It was an interesting lecture and it definitely brought points about how closely intertwined design and people’s psychological state can be. After the lecture we went to a group lunch at an Italian restaurant called Grappa. We all got the pre-ordered pasta dish which wasn’t my favorite but it was good. Throughout our lunch we discussed what to do about our next activity - outdoor laser tag - because it was quite a cold and rainy day. We ended up deciding to try it, since it stopped raining, for a shorter amount of time than planned. About 1/3 of the class decided they didn’t want to so they stayed on the bus but the rest of us went and it was so fun! We played in the literal woods and all the technology was pretty cool and simple- all the guns transmitted back to the guy’s computer to give scores and stats. My team was demolished both rounds but it was really fun nevertheless.
After laser tag we headed home! My host mom picked me up from the train station and dinner was waiting for us once we got home.
The past three days were great and it was really cool to visit other parts of Denmark and to interact with those places in an academic and cultural way.
Laser tag in the rain sounds dangerous, but you all look well, unharmed and beautiful!
