DAY 20, THURSDAY, JANUARY 31ST
Today was just another normal school day! After a tiring day yesterday and getting back fairly late I slept in and relaxed a bit which was nice. In Holocaust & Genocide we had our first lecture on the Holocaust and it's already interesting comparing how this professor teaches the subject versus the professor I took the Holocaust class with at William & Mary. In Cyberpsychology we got final information about our Core Course Week next week. I will give more details next week but basically we have all of next week off from classes and we just spend the week with our core course class doing academic and cultural visits and activities. For dinner, my host dad made hamburgers which was quite tasty.
DAY 21, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST
Early classes as usual today! Today was the hardest to wake up early, maybe I'm still recovering from a long day Wednesday. Nevertheless, I made it through all my classes. After eating lunch I met up with a friend and we decided to do something in the city we hadn't done yet so we decided to climb the tower at the Christiansborg Palace. The palace is open to visitors but we did not go in, however the tower is free to climb up so we decided to do that. If I remember correctly, it is the tallest tower in Copenhagen. Unfortunately right as we started walking up it got cloudier so we didn't get the best views but still a good time!
After walking up the tower we headed home to relax. After spending a couple hours at home I met up with a couple friends in the city to try and get some free food. A dim sum restaurant was having a grand opening for the "late night" service so the first 100 customers got free food and beer so we waited in line for about an hour only to find out we weren't in the first 100 customers. We ended up getting free beer but not free food, but since we were starving at that point we bought food anyways (not a bad marketing strategy).
